Movie Poster Card

This was a bit of a last minute idea for a friend's husband from my ballroom class who loves movies. They have SO many DVDs/Blu-rays and have lent me quite a few that I hadn't seen, and we all went to see X-Men First Class last week. So, having nothing really in my stash to create with, I found these images of posters, and made them into a card. They're all quite sci-fi (robots, mutants) so I thought the starry space background would work!

Christmas in June

My first Christmas card of this year! I was just in the mood to have a bit of a play!

Father's Day Dog Song!

I kept with the dog theme for my Father's Day card! These Whimsy dogs just look so much like a cartoon version of our Benny that I can't resist using them!
This particular image just makes me think of the song "How much is that doggy in the window?"

Whimsy Bookmark for Dad!

 I saw this tutorial on the Whimsy Inspirations blog and thought I'd have a go at it as part of my Father's Day present to Dad! He loves to sit in the conservatory at night reading, and this doggy is very much like our Labradoodle Ben!

On becoming a vet...

Big celebrations next door - Becky has just qualified as a vet! Really pleased for her, as I've been through all that and know how tough it is, and how much panic is involved!

Forever Friends Birthday!

The first card I've made using one of my new FF stamps (that I got for my Birthday in April)! It's been coloured for ages, but I've only just got around to actually making a card!

Happy House-Mouse Anniversary!

It was Aunty Marilyn & Brian's first wedding anniversary at the weekend, so I made them a little card. They found the HM image funny and were trying to decide who was which mouse!

I made this card for my Grandad's Birthday, then on the day I was going to post it, my fab prize arrived from Papermaze, and it included these lovely letter stickers, which were just what I needed to finish it off! So there's my nice easel-photo-tent picture, then a quick snap as I was about to run off to the postbox!

Welcome Home Dad!

Dad's been away in France with work for 10days (although it's gone quite quickly). Mum and I have missed him, and the dogs have too! Particularly for walks! So I made him a card and a pile of cupcakes (photo to follow!!)
