Here's looking at you, kid!

Dad's birthday card!! I've used House Mouse Gruffies "Finding Friends" image, and coloured it with Promarkers. I've used two different sheets of Dovecraft Masculine paper pack - the diamond and checks, layered onto brown card, with one brown ribbon and a peel-off.
I took Mum and Dad to the airport this morning and they've just called to say they are about to board the plane to Mexico.

Challenges I'm entering:
The Pixie Cottage #34 - Sketch & Family
Stamp Something - Cute
Pile it On #35 - Layers
Papertake Weekly #58 - Just the one (piece of ribbon)

First Tunnel card!!

Mum & I recently bought the Papermania Tunnel Card template, and here's my first attempt using it!!

I've used a Miss Anya image coloured with Whispers (in the Promarker-era!!), and have glittered the white fur trims with Glamour dust!
The card is actually Cooredinations, and so I've distressed the edges with scissors, then used silver pearlescent glue & more glamour dust to highlight the edges (and hide my poor cutting skills)!! There is acetate across the "windows" with little stickers stuck on, and at the back I've used a Christmas tree from a paper pack, and embellished with gems. I love the sparkle (as I'm sure you've realised on this card) and get so excited about Christmas!!

Challenges I'm entering:
Dutch Dare #83 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Days Away #1 - Favourite Things
Anyone For Anya #27 - Christmas in August

On Your Engagement!

My best friend from school has just got engaged to her boyfriend (also from school) so I made this card for them.
I've coloured Penny Black's "The Park Bench Affair" with my Promarkers. The heart paper is from Papermania's Love paper pack. The glossy chipboard hearts are by Heidi Swapp (I received them in a blog candy) and I've added some green ribbon and a peel off. Oh, and the ladybirds - not sure who makes them (Mum gave them to me to add to it)!

Penny Black at Allsorts - A burst of summer colour
Creative Craft #18 - Here comes the bride

Mother's Day 2 - Special Delivery

Well, we normally have a card from me and a card from the menagerie (sorry, I mean fur-babies), so here is a second card for Mother's Day. I can't decide which I like more....?

The cute digi image is "Special Delivery" from Karensdoodles, which I've coloured with Whispers pens. I've used text paper from DCWV Text Prints paper stack, and the green flowery paper is from Daisy & Dandelion Picnic Patch collection. I've die-cut the words with my Night & Day Sizzix alphabet. Then just some ribbon, a few hearts & gems & of course, some Glamour Dust on the lettering.
