Good Luck in Green!

Well, it's St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. Lliving near Cheltenham, home of the Gold Cup (aka Cheltenham Festival) I know there will be a lot of Guiness-drinking leprechauns around! Was hoping to go to the races myself, but didn't get around to finding a ticket in time, so I suppose I'll just watch it on the tv. I thought this card was perfect to celebrate!

Paper: The green shamrock paper is from a Papercraft Inspirations download.

Tilda Bookmark & Fancy Fold card

Here's a diagonal double pocket card made from a Splitcoast Stampers tutorial.

I've used G.C.D Studios Cloisonne double sided paper to make the actual pocket card. The gardening image on the front is from Beccy's Place  - she has loads of lovely digis to play with! I've coloured with Promarkers, and added "60" in peel-off number to the tea-cup as the card is for my friend's mum's 60th!

In the top pocket of the card I have placed a bookmark, made using gold cardstock, and Tilda with Wedding Gifts, coloured with Promarkers (to match the paper). I printed the sentiment off from Word!! I've added a ribbon and totally forgot to put an eyeley around the hole!! (Too many other things going on at home)!

Christmas Teddy Bear!

Wow, second Christmas card this week - I couldn't resist after my Polar White FlowerSoft arrived yesterday!!
I finally got round to using this Daisy & Dandelion stamp (which was free with an issue of Docraft's Creativitiy magazine) - he's coloured with Promarkers. The template for the octagon easel card was from Crafty Ann's blog. The papers are all Dovecraft or DCWV (I think!)

And a close-up of the FlowerSoft:

A new birdhouse for Grandad!

Well, I had intended to make this to enter into the Dutch Dare Challenge (as this is where the birdhouse template came from - go and have a look) after seeing the wonderful cards they'd made, but work has been crazy the last couple of days, and I just haven't really had the brainpower to finish it in time, but here it is anyway:
My first card for ages with no stamped image/Promarkers! I've used striped paper from the Papermania Secret Garden paper pack, and the little birds are chipboard toppers from a magazine freebie. Just added some silk ivy, and a load of Shamrock Green Flowersoft (moss) to go with the peel-off that I coloured green!

Challenges I'm entering:

Incy Wincy Designs #45 - One for the guys
Creative Inspirations #65 - One for the boys

World of Nonsense!

I've finally gotten around to using this fantastic Alice in Wonderland word art from Paulette at Create-with-TLC. The card is for my friend Fiona from school, who actually bought me the Disney film on DVD for my 21st Birthday! It was always a little bit of a running joke at school that we loved the film!!

I found the image of Alice from Dezina World and coloured her with Whispers pens (ages ago - before my Promarkers). The paper is from a Daisy & Dandelion pack. I made the wire word myself, and I've added some flowers (2 paper from Papermania, & 1 fabric), pearl brads for the centres. On the yellow flower I've added some gems!

Challenges I'm entering:
Papertake Weekly #43 - Say it with flowers

My first Sugar Nellie card!

My lovely Mum bought me the "Daisy" Sugar Nellie stamp for my birthday, and this is the first card I've made with it!!

I coloured the image using my Promarkers, and used some downloaded purple flowery paper from Cuddly Buddly for the background. The yellow ribbon, photo brad thingy and green flowers are all from the Papermania Capsule collections. I've just added some little brads for the flower centres. Apologies for the dog hair in the middle of the card - he gets everywhere!

Tilda among the flowers!

I've finally got around to colouring one of the Tilda's I stamped in my little frenzy a few weeks ago, as I found her somewhere new to sit and watch the world go by! The flower pot is a fab die-cut from Susie and I have made the flowers myself using a punch, and distressed them with a nail file. The pink & green textured card is from DCWV scrapbook kit in a stack - I had no idea it would distress until I ripped a bit and it's got a white core! The blue paper is Papermania, the brown is Daisy & Dandelion. I also used my Sizzix flourishes sizzlit that I haven't used for AGES (if ever) for the stems and the little hearts.

Challenges I'm entering:
Creative Inspirations #31- 3 flowers, 2 papers, 1 ribbon
Die Cut Dreams #45 - Make your own flowers
