First Twisted Easel Card!

Well, I've seen everyone else having a go at these twisted easel cards, so I thought I'd give it a go - after a bit of puzzling over which way up to stick the image, I finally worked it out!
This is a card for someone who I won't name as it will spoil the surprise, but it is a thank you for something!! I thought I'd go for a bright, flowery theme as it's Spring, even though it's really miserable and gloomy outside!

Supplies:
Images: Miss Anya with Flowers from The Greeting Farm, coloured with Promarkers, "Thank You" from Raindrop Echo Designs
Paper: My Mind's Eye - Summer
Tools: Nestabilities Blossom die
Embellishments: Flowers & brads

Twilight Calendar!

Here's something I made for my cousin's teenage daughter - she's a big Twilight fan (as am I) and I only just managed to give this to her as a present as I was actually quite pleased with how it turned out:

I've used a chipboard star shape as my base, and the black & white paper is from a Dovecraft paper pack.
For Edward I have used "Flirty Edward", and Bella is "Camille" from The Greeting Farm. Both are coloured with Promarkers, and Edward is sparkling as he always does! The Sparkles sentiment is from Create with TLC (it's always perfect for Twilight cards!) I've distressed the edges with black ink to give it a bit of a shadowy feel!

Challenges:
Simon Says - Anything but a card
A Spoon Full of Sugar #139 - Anything but a card

First Tunnel card!!

Mum & I recently bought the Papermania Tunnel Card template, and here's my first attempt using it!!

I've used a Miss Anya image coloured with Whispers (in the Promarker-era!!), and have glittered the white fur trims with Glamour dust!
The card is actually Cooredinations, and so I've distressed the edges with scissors, then used silver pearlescent glue & more glamour dust to highlight the edges (and hide my poor cutting skills)!! There is acetate across the "windows" with little stickers stuck on, and at the back I've used a Christmas tree from a paper pack, and embellished with gems. I love the sparkle (as I'm sure you've realised on this card) and get so excited about Christmas!!

Challenges I'm entering:
Dutch Dare #83 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Days Away #1 - Favourite Things
Anyone For Anya #27 - Christmas in August

Summertime!

I made a girly birthday card for a sun-worshipping friend:

It's an Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm coloured with my Promarkers! I've used some Papermania circle paper, some spotted pink paper from a magazine freebie, and a strip of yellow card punched with the XCut heart border punch. There's a Papermania Capsule collection flower & button & the pink is one of Mum's old silk flowers (it fell off the arrangement!!).

Challenges I'm entering:
Donna's Den #1 - Happy Birthday
Allsorts #56 - Lace or buttons

Edward is back....!

I just had to get "Flirty Edward" from The Greeting Farm, as a Twilight fan!

I saw the Farm Fresh Friday challenge, and whilst sorting out some old post, I found an envelope with a brilliant black & white pattern on the inside, that I thought I could use (and as it happened to be an A4 envelope I've got loads left to use again)!
The spotty paper was a scrap  from the pile on the desk. The fantastic word art sentiment is from Create with TLC - Paulette has loads of great wordart so go and have a look! I then finished off by distressing the edges with a plain black ink pad!

Challenges I'm entering:
Anyone for Anya - Anything you want
Farm Fresh Friday - Spring Cleaning
PaperPlay Challenges #14 - Shiny Happy People
Digital Tuesday #53 - Blue, White & one other colour

A Male Card....at last!!

Ok, so I kept looking at the challenges who ask for a male card, and I gave in - I coloured Prince Ian from The Greeting Farm, and decided that his jumper needed to match my paper, so he now has a stripy top.

The papers are all from Dovecraft's Masculine collection, and I've just added some buttons on the blue ribbon, and a peel-off - Simples!!

Allsorts Challenge #42 - Just for Men

Summer Anya

Here's a card I made this morning using a Miss Anya I coloured a little while ago. The sun's out and I thought I'd make a summery card.

I used one of the sizzix texture plates to emboss the card (by hand), and the paper is from Cuddly Buddly. I've just added a ribbon down the side and a sentiment from the DoCrafts Creativitiy CDROM.

Challenges I'm entering:
CPS #156 - Sketch
Simon Says Challenge - Girly

Twilight Card!!

I've seen other people's Twilight-inspired cards and thought it was time to try my own! I have a couple of friends who are also Twilight-crazy, so I'm going to surprise one of them with it I think!
I also wanted to enter the two challenges (ICS & Colour Create) currently being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps!!

I have used The Greeting Farm's Prince Ian (he was available free here, but don't think he's there anymore)! I've coloured him with Whispers, then added Glamour Dust to his skin (so it shimmers like it does in the film!!), and little amber gems for his eyes.
The black paper is from Dovecraft Charcoal Prints pack, and the "off-white" is pearlescent paper. I've added thick red organza ribbon with a fabric flower & pearl brad.

Challenges I'm entering:
Colour Create Challenge #39 - Red, Black & Off-White
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp #32 - Pearls (paper & brad)
Lia Stampz Digi Challenge #1 - Hand coloured digi image

MUM DO NOT LOOK!!!

Right, I'm putting all the "writing" at the top in case my Mum comes to look at the blog before her big day on Sunday and sees the pic!!
This is my first easel card, and after much deliberation on which cardstock to use for the base, I found one sturdy enough!
The image is a Miss Anya coloured with Whispers, and I distressed the edges with ink (never tried using the ink pad to fade in from the edges, quite like it)! I've used 2 different papers (flowers & butterflies) from Sharon Duncan's Embossibilities Elegance CD-ROM - it's Mum's and I've never tried it but it came out ok on paper. I've used 3 different types of embellishment (flowers, brads and eyelets).

Challenges I'm entering:
Charisma Cards #7 - Sketch
Quixotic Cards #14 - Something for Mum
Allsorts #39 - 3,2,1 = 3 flowers, 2 papers, 1 image
Pile It On #6 - Let us see flowers
Crafty Angels #22 - Fantastic Flowers
Anyone For Anya - Flower Power
Cute Daisy May - Bright & Cheerful
Simon Says - Recipe = 3 types of embellishment, 2 papers, 1 image

Little Shopaholic!

Mum's boss asked me to make a card with a handbag theme, so here's what I came up with:

The image is a Miss Anya stamp kindly sent to me by Lisa last year! I've coloured it with my favourite (and pretty much only) medium - Whispers Strokes. The striped and diamond papers are from DCWV "Scrapbook in a stack - all occasions", with two handbags from the Dovecraft Glamour pack! The sentiment is a digital one from the CD on the January 2010 Docrafts Creativity magazine! I've gone for a pink and orangey-peach theme - love those colours!
So, I've entered this into the following challenges:
CPS #150 Sketch
Bee Crafty #22 - Favourite colour combo
Incy Wincy Designs #26 - Favourite colouring medium

My first Stamp Something Challenge entry!

Here's my entry for this week's Stamp Something challenge:

This was using blue textured cardstock, with some polkadot paper (Simply Cards & Papaercraft pack). The image is a Miss Anya from my little package from Lisa!
