More sad news...

My lovely cat Charlie died on Friday night at midnight. To cut a long story short, he hadn't been right since we lost Jessica - they'd been together nearly 15yrs (she was 19yrs in Feb and he would have been 15yrs in June). I don't know if maybe he wanted to be with her and decided that the time had come, or whether his kidneys had gradually been packing up and finally shut down altogether. Whatever the reason, nothing I did seemed to make any difference and the only consolation I have is that I was with him at the end, and he is now buried in the garden next to my beautiful baby girl. Just doesn't seem real that both have gone so close together, but I know it does happen.

Here he is a few years ago:

OMG Esme i am so so sorry honey. I have tears coming just reading your post & that beautiful picture of you both. Charlie, as with Jessica were two very lucky pussycats to have such a wonderful & dedicated Mummy like you. They were two very beautiful cats who are now together & at peace. What a wonderful age they both were, although this does not ease the pain or make things right. Esme if you fancy a chat please email me at earlygirl1@hotmail.co.uk & i can arrange a phone chat or just to email. Big, big hugs to you darlin, you are in my prayers. Love Clare xxx
