Entry for Creative Inspirations Challenge

Here's another "yellow and green" project - this time for Creative Inspirations Challenge - why not have a go??

I've just used some green stripy backing paper from a magazine, the yellow is some Papermania Basics vibrant. The bunny is a Tchibo stamp coloured with gel pens. And the egg and happy easter bits are just from MS Word clipart!! Simple! It's for my 2nd cousin (and boys Easter cards are tricky as they don't always like Spring colours!!

Dutch Dare Card & Cute Card Thursday Challenges

I've got two challenges in one here - the Dutch Dare Card Challenge Easter card, and the Cute Card Thursday Citrus Colours.

The yellow backing paper is from Papermania Basics Vibrant, and the rest is from various magazines. The little duckling is from the Tchibo stamp set, coloured with START watercolour pencils.

Simon Says Challenge

Here's my entry to the Simon Says Stamp "Green & Yellow" Challenge. I'll admit I've not used a stamp - I've used the flower soft toppers instead, with some green stripy backing paper from a mag, yellow card and yellow flocking powder down the sides. I've added a bit of yellow ribbon at the bottom with green gems. Hope you like it!

Sweet N Sassy Stamps Challenge

Here's my entry to the competition - a brilliant use of the old CDs I cleared out at the weekend! I really enjoyed this one!
I used:
Papermania Basics Vibrant paper (blue stripes & circles, pink waves & Birthday Wishes)
Papermania clear handbag stamp (sorry I don't have any SNS stamps) - stamped onto acetate using Staz On ink, and glittered!
A few little embellishments & sugar brads.

Bizzy Becs Challenge

Well that was a handy coincidence - found Bizzy Bec's challenge just as I finished making this card for my Grandpa! Quite enjoyed doing this one!! (I finally found some stamps that I can use without disaster)

I used:
Dovecraft Masculine 6x6 paper
"Happy Birthday" and "present" stamps from the See D's Piece of Cake kit
Papermania clear embossing powder over the stamps
Present coloured in with gel pens
DecoArt Glamour Dust over the bow
And as for the required element....metal.... the eyelets!

Daisy & Dandelion Challenge

Well, here's my first blog challenge entry - used the free decoupage downloads on DoCrafts website. Really enjoyed it and desperate to get more D&D stuff (resisted the goody bag in The Range yesterday tho).
I used:
Free D&D decoupage download
Backing paper from a craft magazine.
Flower embellishments held on with glitter brads
Gems for the flower borders.
Glitter with DST around the sentiment

Busy day!

Well, Mum & I have been hard at work crafting today - after getting our Staz On ink on Friday we've been attacking the acetate and glittering it up!
Confession - we went to Hobbycraft on Friday for the Staz On ink and stamp cleaner and came away with a new butterfly stamp and clear embossing powder too.
Then yesterday we popped into The Range (Mum wasn't sure if she wanted to get one of the DCWV stacks but couldn't remember which she liked best) - we DIDN'T get any paper/cardstock, but I bought a Papermania duo set of stamps, some cute transfers and some Stiki Motifs, and Mum bought another wooden stamp & something else (can't remember).
BUT on the up side, we did have a massive tidy of the "craft room" so can now find things more easily!
