My friend's mum is not a fan of fancy/detailed cards, so my mum and I struggle to make her something she might like (she can be quite blunt at times about whether or not she is keen on the cards we've shown her before).
I've used some yellow checked (however that's spelt) paper from a magazine freebie pack, and the three floral squares are stickers from the June Cardmaking & Papercraft freebie pack. I added a little sentiment, a ribbon, and a punched flower with gem centre. I can't do much plainer than that!!
Challenges I'm entering:
Simon Says Challenge - Check it out!
Ooh La La Creations #57 - Simply Summer
Dutch Dare #81 - Flowers
Quirky Crafts #31 - Ribbon

Hi Esme, lovely card, so fresh and classic looking, love your pink and yellow together and those gorgeous flowers. She can't not like this surely!!!
Thanks so much for playing along with use at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge.

This looks great! I like how simple it is and that you used different paper in the three squares!
