Umm, Spot the difference?

I made this card for my Grandad's Birthday, then on the day I was going to post it, my fab prize arrived from Papermaze, and it included these lovely letter stickers, which were just what I needed to finish it off! Christmas in July!!

My first Christmas card of 2010! Well, first one I've made so far anyway! Mum was doing some stamping, so I got her to do some for me too (she's so much better at it)! Here's a Whimsy stamp from the Snickerdoodle kids collection that I won on their blog hop. It's called Sledding with Marty and Max, and I think it will be a great card for one of the boys in the family!!

I've used two pieces of snowflake paper from a magazine freebie pack, and I've added some glitter (glamour dust mixed with blue) for the snow on the ground, in absence of Polar white Flowersoft (which has now been ordered). A few sequins, gems and a bit of ribbon to embellish! Obviously the image is coloured with Promarkers!

Challenges I'm entering:
Cards For Men #14 - Christmas in July
Paperplay Challenge #26 - Card for child/Teenager
Fussy & Fancy Friday #14 - Christmas in July
Stamp Something - Colours of your Flag (Red/White/Blue)
Alice In Wonderland #20 - Red, White & Blue
Corrosive Challenge #71 - Christmas Time

Pink and Green!

Here's the first of the two cards I've made this morning (using up some paper bits, and trying a punch I didn't even know we had).

I've used some of the Funky Hand wordbook paper (the flourishy one on top), and then some pink gingham paper on the bottom. The little china girl is one of Wendy's Digital Doodlings, and I've used a little sentiment topper that came free with a magazine (and added a peel-off). I've used 2 heart eyelets, and some green ribbon. The flowers & leaves are punched from spotted/gingham/green offcuts, and I've just added some gems in the centre.

Challenges I'm entering:
One Stitch At A Time #4 - Recipe: 1 ribbon, 2 eyelets, 2 backing papers
Die Cut Dreams #39 - Pack a punch
Challenge Up Your Life #16 - Flower Compliment
Crafty Creations Challenge #58 - Make you own Flowers
Get Funky March - Girls Girls Girls
Pile It On #10 - Pastel Colours

Twilight Card!!

I've seen other people's Twilight-inspired cards and thought it was time to try my own! I have a couple of friends who are also Twilight-crazy, so I'm going to surprise one of them with it I think!
I also wanted to enter the two challenges (ICS & Colour Create) currently being sponsored by Whimsy Stamps!!

I have used The Greeting Farm's Prince Ian (he was available free here, but don't think he's there anymore)! I've coloured him with Whispers, then added Glamour Dust to his skin (so it shimmers like it does in the film!!), and little amber gems for his eyes.
The black paper is from Dovecraft Charcoal Prints pack, and the "off-white" is pearlescent paper. I've added thick red organza ribbon with a fabric flower & pearl brad.

Challenges I'm entering:
Colour Create Challenge #39 - Red, Black & Off-White
Dare U 2 Digi Stamp #32 - Pearls (paper & brad)
Lia Stampz Digi Challenge #1 - Hand coloured digi image

Baby Love!

Here's another different take on the "love" theme:

The image is a freebie digi stamp from Pollycrafts - go and download it yourself here.
I've used the green "baby" paper from DCWV text prints paper stack, and the green and pink textured card is from DCWV scrapbook kit in a stack. I've used nesties and sizzix bookplates to "punch", with some hearts & gems to finish,

Challenges I'm entering:
Papertake Weekly #34 - Love Actually
Cooking it up with Katie #10 - Home/Family, punch & sticker
Paperplay Challenges #5 - Love Notes
Fussy & Fancy Friday #3 - Hearts
Bee Crafty #23 - Romantic or loving
Die Cut Dreams # 34 - Have a Heart
