WOYWW - Sorry it's been a while!

Well, I've finally managed to get my photos done on the day, whilst actually doing something crafty - I will be off to do the ironing later on though, so thought I'd better post this now!
The tangled mess of what looks like brown string is actually a belt Mum has kindly donated to me as it has some lovely beads on it, and she doesn't use it so thought I could recycle them!! I'll recycle the whole lot!!

I get asked what the Stork box is for so I thought I'd give you a little close-up of my mini-rubbish bin!!
As you can see I've been doing a bit of colouring (with the new Promarkers of course), and a bit of stencilling with the thin side of the Whispers brush markers (the butterfly on the bottom right) - I'd never thought of it til Mum showed me what she'd done after reading in the Creativity magazine about all things to do with stencils!

Hope you're all well, and that you will pop over to Julia's blog to see what everyone else has been up to!

That's a clever idea, to have a mini bin on one's desk. I might just try that one.
I've also recycled beads from other items before.

Cor Esme, for a minute there I thought you'd taken up macrame!! Am so impressed with you gals that colour images for 'stock'...the few I've got are just knocking about unused because they don't seem to 'do it' for me now!!

I had a mini panic when I saw all that string.. thinking that you were going to have to sit and unravel it all! Fab workspace, loving your colouring x

great idea to use the marge tub as a bin. I don't envy you the ironing, I whip my laundry out of the dryer while it is still hot, fold it and pile it up. The heat and weight presses itself lol

yes, I have a belt with beads, all in shades of brown and cream, haven't broke up the belt yet, as still waiting for the right card to add them too, have a crafty day!

Had to go back for another look when you said it was a beaded belt, I thought it was several sets of ear phones that had got tangled up :-/ Hmmm I have an empty ice-cream tub for a mini bin but it ends up as temporary storage for bits and bobs - temporary meaning months till it gets too full!

The beads look fantastic ...you will have fun with that belt.
Stork pot with lid is a very good idea as 2 of our cats like to sneak in and remove the plastic backing fron ds tape from the table and the floor bin ... swollow it ... no matter how long a piece it is ...and then sick it up later.
