Sugar Nellie Flower Girl

Another flowery creation using Sugar Nellie's "Daisy" image, coloured with Promarkers whilst sat in my car at a Polo match last Thursday (as vet in attendance). Six hours is a long time to be sat in my car, particularly when I don't really follow Polo. It's also less exciting when I'm thinking "Don't you clobber that pony with your mallet, or hit the ball in it's face!" because it means poorly pony and I like a nice uneventful match with all animals safe and sound (literally) at the end!! So I coloured a few images while I was there!!

I've used My Mind's Eye Summer papers as I think they are all just perfect for this image! I've made my own flowers using a punch and brads, and distressed the edges of the card with pigment ink!

Challenges I'm entering:
The Sugar Bowl #40 - Do It Yourself (I chose sketch No. 36)
Craftalicious Challenges #5 - Make Your Own Flowers
Crafty Ann's Challenge #20 - Lazy, Hazy Days of Summer
One Stop Craft #92 - Summer Fun
Cooking It Up With Katie #24 - Make a flowery pink square
Wild Orchid Challenge #3 - One for the girls
Creative Card Crew #56 - Cute and Girlie

Fab card, Esme - such a pretty image, and gorgeous papers too. I'm chuckling at the idea of the vet colouring images at a polo match - absolutely the best use of a long 6 hours!!!

Thanks for joining us at Creative Card Crew this week.

Great card Esme, this is one of my favourite stamps to colour. I love the papers. Sounds like you have found the perfect job! Do you specialise in horses?
